Frequency Television is Columbia College Chicago's own television station, brought to you by the Columbia Television Department. Frequency Television reaches approximately 12,000 Columbia Students, and 2000 faculty and staff members through close circuit television on campus. Frequency TV is and extention of Columbia's Television Department. Broadcast through cable TV on channel 32 at University Center where over 1800 students reside from Columbia College, DePaul and Roosevelt University. Currently, Frequency TV broadcasts 18 hours per day, seven days a week on three different channels.
Frequency Television produces original shows, airs a diverse range of students projects, and receives content and programming from different television classes. In addition, Frequency TV has a unique partnership with National Lampoon Network, Zilo Networks, and NBC5 Chicago. Frequency TV is now part of the Open Student Television Network.
